Prosper Parks & Recreation

Mayor’s Fitness Challenge:  January 18 - April 28, 2022

Register today! 
For 90 days, we encourage you to focus on health and wellness by engaging in and documenting your fitness routine. Residents who log 1,170 total fitness minutes (an average of 90 minutes per week) over the course of the Challenge and turn in a completed tracking sheet will earn a free t-shirt and be entered to win a Fitbit.  Any type of exercise qualifies as trackable minutes and all ages are eligible to participate!

13th Annual Prosper Fishing Derby:  February 19, 2022
9am-11am at the pond at Frontier Park

The event is free of charge and registration is not required. Bring your bait, pole and cooler. Prizes will be awarded for "Most Fish Caught" in various age groups, up to 14. Details.

Prosper Bowling for Active Adults 55+:
Tuesdays at 1:00pm at Strikz, Frisco. $11 at the door covers three games and shoes.
Bowlers of all skill levels are welcome! Advance registration is requested.

Scholarships are available to assist residents in attending classes offered by the
Parks and Recreation Department. Assistance is available for adults and children and
has been expanded to accommodate those impacted by COVID-19.
