The Town of Prosper Parks & Recreation Department strives to provide active and passive recreational opportunities for all citizens of Prosper in an accessible and safe environment, while promoting the preservation of the Town's natural resources.

September 18 - October 18, 2021

Each year, Parks and Recreation brings attention to community forestry with the Champion Tree Contest! The 2021 contest kicks off in Prosper on September 18. Residents are encouraged to have some fun learning about trees by hunting for Prosper’s largest Cottonwood on their property or in a Prosper park! For more information, click here!

September 25th, 2021 from 5 - 9pm

The beautiful Frontier Park serves as the perfect venue for this outdoor event! Bring a blanket and picnic and settle in for Blues and Jazz performances by The Halftones, Fingerprints, and Little Elmo & The Mambo Kings! Click here for additional information!

November 6, 2021

The annual Prosper Arbor Day Celebration brings focus to Prosper's dedication to community forestry. The Town recognizes that trees enhance the quality of life in Prosper and staff is dedicated to the proper care and management of  these precious resources. December 4th, 2021 from 3 - 7pm

The Prosper Christmas Festival is back for 2021! Join us as we celebrate Christmas and our community, with Santa, stage performances, carriage rides, and much more!
