February 18 | 9-11 a.m. | The Pond at Frontier Park

Plan to bring the kids to the pond at Frontier Park, 1551 Frontier Pkwy, on February 18 to enjoy the annual Prosper Fishing Derby! The annual event is a relaxed, informal morning of fishing and a fun, friendly competition for kids up to age 14. Prizes in several categories will be awarded! The event is free of charge and registration is not required.

Remember to bring a pole, bait and cooler and come join the community competition! For the duration of the event, the Texas Parks & Wildlife Department (TPWD) has granted the Town of Prosper an exemption to the fishing license and any stamp requirement for those who fish or volunteer. TPWD will stock the pond in advance with mostly rainbow trout. The Derby is a catch-and-keep event for trout only, with a limit of five per person.

We welcome Boundaries Coffee to the event!

Thank you to our Platinum Sponsor, PondMedics!
