Mission Statement The Town of Prosper Parks & Recreation Department strives to provide active and passive recreational opportunities for all citizens of Prosper in an accessible and safe environment, while promoting the preservation of the Town's natural resources. Adult Sports & Recreation Adult programming offered through Prosper Parks and Recreation is more than an opportunity to get out and exercise, it is also a great chance to have fun with friends and meet new people. 2019 Summer - Adult Tennis Summer Session Adult Tennis is open to all skill levels, and with sufficient enrollment, is typically divided into two groups: 1) beginners and players returning to game as refresher and 2) experienced intermediate players. Classes are a combination of instruction on technique and drills emphasizing actual play and strategy.Programs are led by USPTA certified pros (David Gray - former UNT head coach; Carlos Aguilar - recently ranked #1 in the state in Men's Double; Nick Strohla - national USTA team qualfiier; and Alexis Thoma - played 15 professional tournaments) Cost: $79 per 4 week session or $119 for all Summer sessions. The 8-game season with playoffs will be played at Frontier Park. Games begin June 9 and will be played Sundays through August 11. Cost per team is $350, due with application.
